OneRepublic sounds amazing live
I chose to wake up at 3:15 AM to eventually reach Bridgewater Commons at 4 AM to stand outside the unopened Microsoft Store in a line of people being number 36 and receiving two tickets to a concert with another ticket for a meet and greet. It was about 45 degrees outside. They had a Kinect with Star Wars and Avengers games with a hilarious guy to keep us entertained. and everything did. We waited till 6:20AM till we finally moved inside and secured a spot close to the Store. There we knew we would wait for another three hours. We received free Starbucks and clothing and accessories. We had pictures taken, conversations exchanged with many different people. We saw the history of Microsoft before our eyes. Technology never fails to amaze. A Starbucks wrap never tasted so good. A nap was so needed.
We decided to reach the concert site near 5 PM when the concert starts at 7 PM. We built walls with humans, and had people beg us to take free items and food. We were lucky enough to experience the best DJ ever. Then we saw OneRepublic and Ryan’s voice is amazing. His personality isn’t much so, but Brent and Zach are pretty cool. There was a lot of head bobbing and voice losing and sun setting and cool breeze blowing. Then we got a picture with the band that was quite rushed. Didn’t know what was going on but I shoot hands with Drew. Ate a belly full of Subway and good laughs.
